Anew

I wanted to wield the future

To see, what was in store

Peek into my tomorrows

Though the image, not quite sure

I thought I saw the picture

Of what it means to soar

I rode upon the jet stream

To glance at it once more

I knew it would require

Freeing wrongs I’d done before

To take His cross upon me

Because my Liege has to me swore, a new

2020 has gone by in the blink of an eye. With 2021 now here, it is time to start anew. A refreshing new start is an ideal time to reflect on our wrongdoings and to begin strengthening our relationship with God. We must be vigilant and bring what is deemed as good in His eyes for the new year. We may have experienced many challenges and struggles last year, but God will gift us with the utmost abundance for 2021. Therefore, we must be prepared to give more and to offer more. God, in His righteousness, wants to bless us. Revelation 21:4 states:

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’”

If we are continuing to do the same thing we did last year, we are not making any improvements. Instead, we are peddling backwards. As sons and daughters of God, we should not focus on the outside distractions that will stray us away from Him. Our primary focus and main priority is to think about and prepare for what we should do to carry out God’s work by a ten-fold. There is great gain in hearing His Word and reciting His Word. Be bold and courageous for what you will do this year.

May God Bless You All.
